GatorSktch Architects was commissioned to master plan and design a multi-building town home complex called Gibson Bay. The planning worked out for six – twelve unit buildings facing on a single street ending in a cal de sac. It made sense to place the club house and retention at the end on the street of the cal de sac. It was important for each unit to have garage space. The planning worked out for a combination of double and single car garages. The GatorSktch team created buildings with internal court yards bringing more of the exterior spaces into the building. Each building includes 3 types of units; a 2 bed room with 2 bath room unit, a 2 bedroom, 2 bath room and a den unit and a 3 bed room, 2 bath room unit. This building configuration creates the best unit yield, while taking up less land space as possible.
